I am currently pursuing my PhD in Economics at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where I am deeply engaged in exploring the intricacies of assortative mating in many traits and its subsequent economic consequences. Alongside my academic pursuits, I serve as a research assistant at the University of Hawaii Economics Research Organization (UHERO), contributing to the enlightening project ‘Is Hawaii Left Behind?’, which seeks to understand Hawaii’s economic standing in a broader context.

My journey in economics is driven by my staunch belief that economics holds the key to unlocking better futures for our global community. Through my research, I am committed to generating insights that have the potential to enhance the quality of life for individuals and make a tangible contribution to a better world.
